Action Excavating was founded in 1996 in Payson, Arizona, where we continue to maintain a strong customer base. The company owner, Walter "Mick" Umbenhauer has been in the excavating business for nearly 30 years, and is well-trained and certified to run all pieces of equipment, small and large.
Before opening his own doors for business, Mick worked for a number of years at Parker Excavating, also of Payson, Arizona, before branching out on his own. Mick is the sole owner and main operator of Action Excavating.
Action Excavating strives for the highest quality of work at a competitive price. We do all work until our customers are satisfied or until inspections are passed. Action Excavating has been licensed and bonded since the company first began doing business.
